Possibilities
The last two years have been interesting, to say the least. We have all been met with many challenges. The question is ‘how did you handle it?’ Did you deal with your ‘problems’, meet them head-on, finding solutions? Or did you cave in with excuses or reasons why you could not overcome your problems? Finding excuses is easy while figuring out the solution takes effort, focus, and action. Waiting to be saved never worked for me.
We have come to depend on safety nets. Safety nets are not always available and besides, they are only a temporary fix. The best way to get through difficult times is to believe you can and know you can, then take action. When you open yourself up to possibilities, you open the door to creativity. Creativity allows you to find the solutions you need. By staying positive and imagining the very best outcome, you will have the edge you need to get ahead of your challenges. Focusing on the outcome you want and not the opposite will keep the door of possibilities open.
As we are coming out of this period, start thinking about your possibilities in a positive way. Allow yourself to be motivated by the carrot and not the stick. Take baby steps if you have to, but always be going in the direction of your goals. Remember, when the going gets tough, the tough get going. There’s nothing wrong with being a turtle as long as you get there. Be kind to yourself and others and know that your truth will set you free to be a shooting star. Your possibilities are waiting for you.
